Hart House - Debate on Quebec separatism
Robert Lansdale Photography
November 18, 1971
Photographs document an especially heated debate on Quebec Separatism "Quebec needs Canada to maintain its unique identity". Arguing for the Nays, were P.Q. deputy, Claude Charron and journalist Bruno Gauron. Bernard Torbik and David McLoughlin argued for the Yays. The debate was interrupted several times by a heckling student who finally had to be forcibly ousted from the room.
