Description
Photographs taken at the President's Dinner for the Committee of One Thousand in the Great Hall of Hart House as part of the Varsity Funding Campaign of 1969. There was also a special performance - a scene from "Flight into Egypt" performed by the Poculi Ludique Societas. Included in the photographs are: Miss Kathy Barcza, Director of the Varsity Downtown Education Project, Robert F. Chisholm, General Chairman of the Varsity Fund, Claude T. Bissell, president of the University of Toronto, Rev. J. M. Kelly, President of St. Michael's, Dr. A. D. Allan, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Science, Nelson Earl, Committee Chairman, and Mr. O. D. Vaughan, Chairman of the Board of Governors.

Description
Views of National Fund workers and lighting sketch artist George Freyer at a cocktail party in the Crystal Ballroom at the King Edward Hotel. The party was hosted by National Fund Co-Chairmen M. Wallace McCutcheon and Neil J. McKinnon to announce the grand total of the National Fund was $15,026,424. George Freyer was invited to draw a series of lighting sketch cartoons to accompany a script by Miss Pat Patterson which told the story of the National Fund.

Views of twenty staff and faculty volunteers from Victoria College who collected pledges by telephone on behalf of Victoria's Living Endowment. Included are shots of the volunteers meeting, phoning graduates, and Ralph Albrant, U of T's Director of Development, screwing in a bulb on a Christmas tree. Albrant turned on a new bulb every time the total amount of pledges increased by $25.

Includes shots of Mrs. Isabell Williams, list supervisor in the Department of Development, and Varsity Fund team captains in Simcoe Hall recruiting canvassers to collect pledges for the Varsity Fund from alumni within the Metropolitan Toronto Area in April 1960.
