Images capture the rehearsal for a six part series about the ROM hosted by its Director Dr. W. E. Swinton and produced by CBC. The series aired on CBLT starting February 14 1964 and was called Worlds Withing Walls.
Photographs document the activities including ice sculptures, chariot race. There are outdoor views of parade and Soldiers Tower. Several edited negatives of what appears to be a firework display.
The festival featured performances of music and dance from around the world. Views of audience and performances. This was a fundraiser for the International Student Centre to build on campus. It was attended by Kay Riddell University of Toronto adviser to foreign students.
