Also in attendance: Canada's Governor General Roland Michener and his wife; Speaker of the Senate, Hon. Jean-Paul Deschatelets; acting President of the University of Toronto, Dr. John H. Sword; Director of McGill's Institute of Islamic Studies, Professor Charles J. Adams; Professor E. J. Keall, University of Toronto Department of Islamic Studies; and Iranian Ambassador Hon. Mohammed Goodarzi. The photographs include a portrait of Ronald Michener, an Iranian gift to the Governor General, gifts and souvenirs from His Excellency's visit to Iran.
