Views of a Professor J. M. Ham teaching and providing physics demonstrations to Grade 13 students in the Mechanical Engineering Building. The class was a segment of a 7-part Saturday morning lecture series organized by Professor A. I. Johnson. The series was offered by the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering to introduce approximately 200 high school students to topics such as automation, space flight potential of atomic energy, metallurgy, rock mechanics, cellulose chemistry, paper making, three-dimensional photography, and the use of engineering models.
