Photographs of the inauguration of President John Evans outside on Front Campus where staff, students and alumni attended the installation of the 9th president of the University of Toronto. Shots include the Chancellor's procession from Convocation Hall to the Front Campus, President Evans being hooded and delivering an address. Also included are photographs of student protesters who were in favour of free universal day care, unlimited access to library stacks, and against racism, repression of women and higher fees. Musical program included the Faculty of Music Brass Ensemble, the University of Toronto Choir and ended with the Lady Godiva Memorial Band. Present at the ceremony: Alumni President J.
