Philips, Chairman of the Board of Governors, unveiled a plaque dedicated to the Co-Chairmen which would be installed at one of the new buildings made possible by the National Fund. President Dr. Claude Bissell presented each co-chairmen with a volume of letters from the senior members of the University's staff expressing gratitude for their leadership in the Fund. Also included are shots of Deans Wright, MacFarlane, Bladen, and McLaughlin and the wives of McKinnon, McCutcheon, and Bissell in the audience.
